As you can see, the volume is not extremely high, but in my opinion, it is good enough to try and rank for it.
I usually aim for a search volumes between 1k and 6k.
Obviously, higher search volumes are probably too competitive to rank for, and lower would not benefit the traffic to my website.
This does however not mean that you should completely ignore the lower ones.
If you are in a very specific niche, they might still be of interest to you.
Ask yourself the following before deciding:
Do I want the content to attract a lot of traffic, or does it need to stimulate conversions.
In my experience, low search volume keywords are often undervalued.
Most importantly, you should pick a keyword that picks up high-quality traffic.
If you sell products or services, a good way of looking at it would be to check the conversion rate.
I mean, 20 visitors with 2 people purchasing is better than 100 visitors with only 1 purchaser.
That is why I believe in creating the right balance.
Anyways, I am drifting off a bit from the case study 🙂
Now that I know that I will write an article about SEO content writing, I start to look for closely related keywords.
